Measuring 6 inches by 56 ring gauge, Warhead IX is a perfecto with a pointed head and tapered base that resembles an aerial bomb. Crafted by A.J. Fernandez at his San Lotano Factory in Ocotál, Nicaragua, this cigar is composed of all-Nicaraguan tobacco, primarily the Connecticut-grown broadleaf wrapper. Reports suggest the Warhead IX is medium-to-full bodied. The initial Warhead blend featured a Connecticut broadleaf wrapper, which changed to Nicaraguan broadleaf for Warhead VII in 2021. However, the remainder of the blend is unchanged, apart from adjustments to the cigar dimensions with each release.
