Many connoisseurs prefer thinner cigars when experimenting with the blend of a cigar, as their ratio of components shows the wrapper better, and Noel favors this approach, blending his cigar specifically for these smaller vitolas. The KSG or "King of the Small Gauges" series celebrates Noel's signature blending style and love of smaller cigars with a limited edition 6.25" x 42 Lonsdale of which only 1000 boxes were ever made. This is the third delivery within the KSG line, debuting at the PCA show in 2022, and features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper and binder and fillers from the Somoto region of Nicaragua.Less known than, say, Estelí, Jalapa or Condega, Somoto has grown in popularity. in recent years, and Noel has saved his stock of Somoto blades since 2019 for specific use in the KSG line.
